Formmally called Swaziland Street Vendors Association-ssva embarked in the year 2013 embarked in a constitution building process. This process resulted in the positive results in the organization being legally registered under SWAZILAND CROSS BOARDER TRADERS ASSOCIATION –SWACBTA.

In the SADC region the organization is now recognized by regional body’s i.e. SADC Council of None Governmental Organization (SADC CINGO) where they now sit in the Executive of this body. The chairperson of SWACBTA was appointed to be a Board Member of Southern Africa Cross Boarder Traders Association (SACBTA). SACBTA has now established its head quarters in Botswana, Gaborone where they have a fully fledged office house by SADC CINGO.

SWACBTA’s Chairperson Molta Vilakati was in 2013 nominated and then elected to sit in the board of Southern Africa Cross Boarder Traders Association.


To be a National recognised organization committed in providing its embers with skills and resources to grow their business and eradicating poverty through the establishment of the street vendor’s finds.


SSVA is an organization working in cross boarder trading, selling and marketing and education and mobilization through providing skills and capacity building programs, civic education, buying and selling so to enrich the lives of the members of the organization and their families.
