SRWA recently took to Parliament at Lobamba to deliver a petition.

The Swaziland Rural Women’s Assembly (SRWA) recently took to Parliament at Lobamba to deliver a petition, demanding that the House of Assembly signs and implements the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence (SODV) Bill with immediate effect. SRWA was on the point that the bill needs to pass as soon as possible and also to curb the escalation of gender based violence in the country and to also have the bill passed into a law that will have stiff fines for any offenders. Also, the implementation of this bill will ensure justice for any woman and child who’s Right has been violated. The march was attended by mostly members of SRWA from all 4 regions of Swaziland .
